Wow! This week went by so fast, there was so much to do! The Black and White Ball was a huge success! We hope you all enjoyed it and had a great time! :)

Don't forget that this Wednesday is a mandatory testing day from 8:30-12 for Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors. This means no school for you Seniors!
Join the Leadership Academy on Thursday, October 14th at lunch in room 19 to learn about Capstone Projects, brainstorm ideas, and obtaining Gold status in the Academy. The purpose of the Capstone Project is to demonstrate the leadership skills learned through the Academy. See you at the meeting!
And of course the Junior Ring Ceremony is this Friday! Congratulations Juniors, this is such a great honor. Take in every second of it. :)

October is here!
Hey Panthers,
Last week was awesome! O-team and A-day Smackdown were a huge success!
Now onto this week...
Swim to Remember is coming up on Wednesday! Come out and show some support or jump in the pool as swim some laps. Swim for as long or little as you would like or you can sponsor another swimmer! Pledges are per lep, yard, or hour.
There are two sessions:
6 a.m. to 7 a.m.
1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
There will be hourly raffles with some pretty cool prizes! There will also be food, drinks, and treats for all swimmers and volunteers. All proceeds go to the Breast Cancer Connections of Palo Alto, as well as to the Claire Buchser Memorial Scholarship Award. Please come out and show your support for Breast Cancer! Lifeguards welcome too! Pledge sheets are in your Pres e-mail account.
Also, there is Bellarmine Night Rally this Thursday from 7:30-8:30pm. Your ASB will be in a relay and Presentation Dance Team will be performing as well! Just bring your Pres ID and some show some spirit in support your fellow Panthers. See you there!

Last Week in September!
Hello Panthers!
Can you believe it? September is almost done and October begins next week. We have been working really hard so far this year- so keep it up! Some reminders for this week:
- There is an O-Team event for Freshman on Thursday from 12:30 until 2. Make sure you are with your O=Team leaders, and have fun!
- Congratulations to our waterpolo team and their succesful season so far. Check out the JV waterpolo tournament starting on Thursday, and sign in for spirit points!

Let's Take a Breather
Hello Panthers,
For a recap on last week, we had an amazing Mag Drive yet again, making over $200,000 for our school. Thank you to all of you sellers, for you have helped us keep our two holidays in February!
The leaders of our school also took part in the Fall Leadership Conference on Friday and Saturday, sleeping over in the hallways after learning valuable leadership skills. Ask them how it went!
For this week, we have a calm one compared to the previous. We start the week out destressed with the collaboration in the morning! Enjoy sleeping in! On that note, student council members, we will see you at 8:30 in the center for our monthly meeting.
San Jose Urban Plunge takes a dive into our city life on Thursday and Friday, there is a college essay workshop at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, and Peer Ministry has their retreat on Friday from 12:30-7 p.m.
Lastly, becuase of your great Mag Drive efforts, FREE DRESS on MONDAY, and the Bishop also awarded us with FREE DRESS on TUESDAY! Express yourself appropriately, please and thank you.
Keep up your panther pride and support your sports teams, for they are all doing a phenominal job this fall season.

Mag Drive Week 1 = Completed
Hey Everyone!
We did it! We completed our first week of selling Mags!
From the announcements we've heard it seems that we are doing a great job! Just a reminder though, we are not done yet! This coming week, we need to continue to sell!
Together we can get days off of school!
So remember to sell!
Anyways, we had some Bell mixers this weekend. So we hope that all of you who went had a good time!
This week we have a few exciting dates. On Tuesday, we have parish day! So look for your youth leaders and make sure to eat with them.
And at the end of the week Student Council has their Fall Leadership Conference! So everybody get pumped! We sure are!

Mag Drive is Here!
Hey Pres Girls!
Hope you had a great three-day weekend. Wow last week was a busy one!
We hope you found a club or two that really sparked your interest at Club Day.
Our first student council meeting on Monday was very productive. Our meetings are open to everyone, so feel free to stop by! We encourage you to do so.
The Mag Drive Assembly was a huge success! Everyone looked so adorable in their class colors. Thanks to each class for all of their amazing dances, Panther Pride for bringing so much spirit, and the dance team for really working it! It sure was a perfect way to get pumped for MAG DRIVE!
First turn in day is Tuesday the 7th, so bring in those orders. Top homeroom gets free dress on Wednesday :)
Remember to bring in as many orders as you can. We want to make sure we get those extra holidays in February!
