Busy and EXCITING Week

Why Hello Good-looking Panthers!

Welcome back from your Thanksgiving break! ASB hopes you ate so much turkey that you went straight into a food coma...but we want you all back at school this week for sure, well rested and ready. Here's why.

Do you know how many weeks left until Christmas Break? Three.
Do you know how many days left before finals? Ten.
Do you know how many events ASB is throwing this week? TWO.

Wednesday, we have another crazy Big/Little Sister Christmas Event. This will be during lunch (A Day), and big sisters will pick up their little sisters. We hope you remember your family...if not, find an ASB officer and we will have a major list to check for you. We have tons of activities including pictures with Santa, cookie decorating, snowflake making, movie watching (Polar Express & Miracle on 34th Street), pin the ornament on the christmas tree, and more. We know...too much fun, but we think you can handle it.

Guess what Friday is...okay we'll tell you. It's the ASB Winter Dance. Sadies "Opposites Attract". We know there has been slight confusion, so here we go. If you want to go with a group of your girlfriends, go for it. If you want to bring your hunk, go for it. If you have some guy friends that want to come, buy their ticket and make sure they pay you back. As for how to dress, think of the best polar opposites such as the traditional nerd&beautiful girl couple or happy&sad. Or you could go a little more creative such as fire&ice. How to do that? We'll leave that up to you...we just supply the ideas (:

Remember, tickets are sold online at https://www.vendini.com/ticket-software.html?m=83fdf5835225e5a64c5605cfc4781e7e&t=tix. If everyone shows, it will be a blast...so buy your ticket with a friend today, and don't wait!

Last but not least, the Penny Drive is going on currently, and we know you've been stocking up since last November. Bring those coins to school!

Keep Smiling (:
We're almost done!

Spirit Week Recap!

Wow!! What a week! This has truly been one of the best Spirit Weeks we have ever had! You guys did your part and made it fun and absolutely eventful. I'm pretty sure the Frenchies will never forget the craziness of the week.

The halls were outstanding! You guys showed you're support for your class and you could definitely see the hard work you put into everything. It felt like we were walking through the Pres version of Disneyland!

The Valentine's Day themed Big/Little Sister lunch was a fun time for the freshmen and juniors to connect and share their plans for the break.

And what'd you think of the Talent Show?! Pres girls rocked the stage with some amazing talent! From the Glee-tastic Jazz Choir performance to Jen Greenfield's piano tribute to the senior class to the Dance Team's hip-hop routine! We were completely blown away. Did anyone stop by the center for the ASB lunch event? We were owning Guitar Hero and embracing the inner child in each of us by coloring some Disney themed pictures!

We had such a great time this week. Can't wait to see what next year holds!

Enjoy your breaks! We'll see you all refreshed in a week!

Love,
ASB :)

Attention Juniors and Freshmen!

Hello everyone!

I hope that you all enjoyed the Holla-ween Events on Friday because I certainly did! The Big/Little Sister program was launched on that day, and I hope all of you had fun with your sisters. You will have a chance to give us some feedback about the event on Wednesday during homeroom so that we will be able to improve for the next event which is on December 2! Also, if you have any problems, you will have a chance to report this on Wednesday.

I know that the event is a month away, but it doesn't mean that you shouldn't hang out with your sisters until then! Here are a few ideas:

1. Have lunch with each other one day! Introduce each other to your group of friends or exchange lunches that day for an extra surprise!
2. Freshmen: Since the holiday drives are coming up, ask your sisters about them. Or if you have any problems with homework, ask your sister for help!
3. Since the musical is opening this weekend, you could buy a ticket and watch it with your sister.
4. I hear the volleyball team is playing all this week! Come with your sister to support our team.
5. This Wednesday, Bellarmine will be having a rally for their football team at 7:30-9. Bring your sister and watch the show - our Dance Team will be performing!

Don't be shy! Organize some down-time with your sister, have fun and make lots of cute memories!

Giving you opportunities to make long-lasting friendships,
Arisa
