Hey Beautiful Pres Girls!
Take a deep breath. Now let it out! It's finals week, and while the next few days may look extremely bleak, here are a few tips to surviving your last week of school.
- Get lots of sleep! If you have the opportunity to go to bed early, take it!
- Avoid procrastination of any sort (facebook, twitter, AIM, etc.)
- Ask your teachers for help! If you need to review any last questions, stop by their classrooms for some tips.
- Take care of yourself! Eat well and avoid living on caffeine.
- Remember, ONE MORE WEEK OF SCHOOL!!!!!
You can do it!
Also, congrats to the Class of 2011. You are an incredibly talented and intelligent group of girls. We will miss you next year!
Finally, if you need any more motivation for this week, remember that Class Day is on Friday. Be prepared for some entertaining dances from each grade level, and a final farewell for our seniors.

ONE Month Left!
Hello Beautiful Pres Girls,
It is officially the month of May! Get pumped because there are some special and exciting events coming up!
Remember tomorrow is May Day, so wear your formal uniform. It is a truly wonderful ceremony with so much culture. Make sure to be respectful.
Reminder to the Juniors and Seniors: There is a mandatory Prom meeting in the Gym on Thursday.
GUESS WHAT???? Ay Ay Ay! ASB is holding a Cinco De Mayo Event during lunch on Thursday. Wear red, white, and green for free dress, hit pinatas for candy, and learn salsa dancing with Senora Poppen! GET PUMPED!
Good luck to all students taking AP Exams and the SAT this week, you will do AMAZINGLY. :)

The Countdown Begins
Hey Panthers!
We hope that your spring break was a lot of fun and that you all got some rest! Now as we head back to school, we enter into the one month countdown until the last day of school. We have about a month left of classes, so hang in there!
Don't forget that the last Leadership Academy Workshops are on Tuesday at 1pm. If you didn't get a chance to join this year, there is always next year!
Also, ASB will be having some fun activities for Cinco de Mayo next week! Look for information about these events in your homeroom. Get pumped!
Good luck to all of those taking AP Tests next week...we know you'll do great!

Guess what? Easter vacation is in 5 days!!! Woohoo!
Class Officer Elections are on Thursday. Make sure to rock the vote and don't forget your ID!! It's important that Pres has wonderful leaders to make next year great.
Speaking of new leaders, congratulations to your ASB for next year: juniors Kayla Bose, Natasha Azevedo, Ashley Vong, Hannah Ford, and Jessica Steinbach. We can't wait to see what they have in store for us all!
There will also be a Spring Spirit Carnival on Thursday, so look out for some fun lunchtime activities.
Keep up the amazing work with Mission Drive - we cannot believe how dedicated Pres is to giving back. Great job ladies!

Four Days Full of Bikes, Elections, and Fashion!
Our Dear Dear Panthers,
Nine more days until Spring Break...YES. Keep up on your classwork and CRPs though, procrastination is never the answer.
Throughout this whole week, any student who bikes to school will receive spirit points for their grade! It's a close close race, so help your grade out! Bike to the soccer field and a SEAS and Student Council member will be waiting to lock your bike up. Everything will stay safe as long as you do too with your helmet.
On Tuesday (SEAS "Earth" Day), ASB Elections are taking place (mand C, don't forget) during collaboration in homerooms. After everyone watches the candidates' videos, everyone will meet in the gym for the question/answer session where Mr. Case will question them on their plans for next year. :)
Don't forget that Thursday is a mandatory C also.
And the best part...no school Friday! It is the Presentation Fashion Show :D come out and support at the Santa Clara Marriott Hotel...$30 for student section for the night showing.

Panthers!!

Time is Flying!
HELLO PRES GIRLS!
We hope you are having a FABULOUS March. :) We have a normal schedule for this week.
Remember to do all you can to help with the Mission Drive whether that's volunteering to help or buying croissants to donate money.
WOW! The Father Daughter Dance is this Saturday (March 26). Come dressed up with your Dad in either formal attire or a goofy outfit. Some goofy ideas include: jerseys, Guitar Hero, Disney characters, etc. Have fun!!
Remember to keep in mind that the Frosh/Soph Dance is April 1st! Make sure to buy your tickets early. It's going to be epic! :)

Increasing the Volume!
Hey Panthers!
Hope last week wasn't too stressful with the schedule change. Don't worry, we're back to our normal schedule with a B-Week!
Last week, on Friday, we had our annual Spring Leadership Conference where we talked about Increasing the Volume on campus! Remember that you don't have to be an elected leader in order to speak up and voice your ideas around campus. Pres can only become a better place if there is feedback and new ideas being shared. The conference was a huge success with Ms. Cobarrubia as our fantastic Keynote Speaker, Jamba Juice for everyone, and high energy and new ideas coming from everyone involved. Then the conference ended even better with a loud P-R-E-S cheer and all students who attended left with a Pres water bottle to always remind them to Increase the Volume of their voice!
Just a couple of reminders for this upcoming week:
On Friday, March 18th, there will be Leadership Academy workshops during the morning Collaboration starting at 8am. Make sure if you signed up, you are there on time! Have fun!

Shout-out to our Varsity Basketball team who fought a hard battle against Del Oro this past Saturday. Pres lost by 4-points in overtime, but they played a great game and we couldn't be prouder of them! CONGRATS team for a great season!

Both Monday and Tuesday will be A days so that a mandatory collaboration can be held on Wednesday for the Ash Wednesday Liturgy. Looks like you will have to do your A day homework on A days! No worries, we're confident you can do it :).
There is a Student Council meeting on Monday at three o'clock. We are discussing spirit week, Panther Pandemonium, and hall decorating, so if you have any input on how the events went, stop by the center and tell us what you thought!
Friday is Spring Leadership Conference- get ready to increase the volume! You are in for a special treat.
Congratulations to our incredible basketball team - our CCS CHAMPIONS! We are so proud! Keep looking out for sports games in the upcoming future- we hear those morning practices are paying off for pres swimmers. Also, buy your tickets today for A Comedy of Errors- it should be a fantastic show!

AND THE HALL DECORATING BEGINS
Hello Panthers!
We hope you are having a great month so far! PAN PAN was a HUGE success! Congratulations to the Freshmen for winning in the participation category, to the Juniors and Seniors who won the dance and relay category, and to the Sophomores who came in third place for both categories. Each class level came with their game face on and it was tons of fun. We saw a lot of spirited people out there. :)
Now it is time for hall decorating. This is a great way to get involved and get some spirit points. Bring in any recycled items such as cups, plates, water bottles, etc. Halls are going to be up until the 18th. So come support your class and help with the halls.

Juniors: Jumangi
Seniors: Candy Land
Keep your eyes peeled for the spirit day theme dresses. They will be advertised this week.
Also, if you want to run for ASB this year, you have to attend one of the 2 mandatory meetings this week. They're on Thursday and Friday at 12:40 in the Library Conference Room.

Why: It will be an epic day you won't want to miss! Come show your Panther Pride!

Prices: Admission & Pizza - $3

- Wednesday is also Evening of Awareness in the theater. Come and see how you can be more globally aware of the issues in the world.

4 Day Week!
Hello Panthers, lovely panthers,
We hope your Martin Luther King Jr. holiday went fabulous, and you are set for this short week.
Panther Pandemonium shirts and tickets for entry AND pizza will be on sale starting this Wednesday, so keep an eye out for your ASB Officers! The shirt, created by a talented student council member, will be sold at $7. For a package deal of the shirt, pizza lunch, and entry ticket, it will cost $10. Tickets will also be sold at the door, but this is the only place to buy the great shirts!
Leadership Academy workshops will be this Friday, Jan 21st starting at 1:00 p.m. If you have any questions, ask Ms. Cobarrubia by email or in the leadership office.

Watch out, because this week is a busy one!
Both Monday and Wednesday are mandatory collaborations: Monday will be an assembly put on by SADD, and Wednesday is the annual Immaculate Conception mass.
The Choir and Band will be having their concert on Tuesday at 7:30 in the theater. If you would like to hear wonderful music, go support your classmates!
Dance Cabaret is on Friday! YOU should go! It is at 7:30 in the gym and will not only feature our incredible dance team, but all of the dance classes on campus. Odds are, you probably have a close friend who is preparing to bust a move next Friday. So go cheer them on!
We do have a piece of advice this week: it would be wise to start studying for finals. We do not wish to see disheveled and tired pres girls in the next couple of weeks, so sit down and start reviewing each night! It will be so much less stressful when the time comes. Good luck studying, and remember to relax!

Busy and EXCITING Week
Why Hello Good-looking Panthers!
Welcome back from your Thanksgiving break! ASB hopes you ate so much turkey that you went straight into a food coma...but we want you all back at school this week for sure, well rested and ready. Here's why.
Do you know how many weeks left until Christmas Break? Three.
Do you know how many days left before finals? Ten.
Do you know how many events ASB is throwing this week? TWO.
Wednesday, we have another crazy Big/Little Sister Christmas Event. This will be during lunch (A Day), and big sisters will pick up their little sisters. We hope you remember your family...if not, find an ASB officer and we will have a major list to check for you. We have tons of activities including pictures with Santa, cookie decorating, snowflake making, movie watching (Polar Express & Miracle on 34th Street), pin the ornament on the christmas tree, and more. We know...too much fun, but we think you can handle it.
Guess what Friday is...okay we'll tell you. It's the ASB Winter Dance. Sadies "Opposites Attract". We know there has been slight confusion, so here we go. Welcome back from your Thanksgiving break! ASB hopes you ate so much turkey that you went straight into a food coma...but we want you all back at school this week for sure, well rested and ready. Here's why.
Do you know how many weeks left until Christmas Break? Three.

Do you know how many events ASB is throwing this week? TWO.
Wednesday, we have another crazy Big/Little Sister Christmas Event. This will be during lunch (A Day), and big sisters will pick up their little sisters. We hope you remember your family...if not, find an ASB officer and we will have a major list to check for you. We have tons of activities including pictures with Santa, cookie decorating, snowflake making, movie watching (Polar Express & Miracle on 34th Street), pin the ornament on the christmas tree, and more. We know...too much fun, but we think you can handle it.

It's Drive Time!
Hello Pres Girls!
Wow, it is already the second week of November. Time is flying by. Thank you to everyone for contributing so much to the drives. You are helping out so many people at Sacred Heart. Keep up the good work!

Thurs., Nov. 18th: Thanksgiving Items Push
Tues., Nov. 23rd: FROZEN Turkeys Push
Go see "Little Women!" Tickets are selling out fast and the last show is on November 21st! Come cheer on your classmates!
A quick reminder that this Friday is the Feast of Presentation. The Alum mother/daughter breakfast begins at 7:30 A.M.

It’s About That Time
Hey Panthers!
It’s November. The leaves are falling. The weather is changing. That can only mean one thing. We are officially in the winter season and the holiday drives are among us. Food Drive starts this week and we know that you are going to make this an AMAZING drive. Thank you in advance for all your contribution and effort to the drives and talk to your homeroom reps about upcoming canvasing dates. Let’s focus our efforts on collecting a lot of food for Sacred Heart so we can make sure everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving this year. Sacred Heart needs us, so lets go Pres!
A couple of reminders: We have a student council meeting Monday the 8th at 8:15. All are welcome to come! And don’t forget Thursday there’s a colloquium in the center at 7:00. Ask your teachers for extra credit! See you there!
As we begin holiday season, let’s not forget our motto of “Not Words, But Deeds.” Have a great week!
