Dance your hearts out!

It is a well known fact that everyone at Pres loves the Dance Team. They amaze us every time they perform and always leave us wanting more. As we enter March, they are ready for their National Competition in Florida. These girls have worked hard all year and we send them our best as they head to Disney World from March 4-7. I know that they will do their best and make Presentation proud! Wish a dancer the best of luck before they leave this Thursday. They appreciate any encouragement. Good luck ladies; dance your hearts out! :)

Love,
JT

Happy Mission Drive!

Hello, Panthers!

Hopefully you've been having an awesome week so far. Just a reminder to do as much as you can for our Presentation Sisters during Mission Drive season- make some friendship bracelets, attend a film festival, buy a free dress pass. As you could see from Sister Maire's reflection at the prayer service today, the sisters do extraordinary work as missionaries. Let's keep the sisters going!

Have a wonderful rest of your week!

Love, ASB

Fashion Show Raffle Ticket Sales

Hey Panthers!

As you may have seen in homeroom, raffle tickets are now on sale to benefit the Presentation Fashion Show! All proceeds will go to girls at Pres on scholarship. Raffle ticket sales are due on Friday, March 12 by 1:00 pm to the Development office.

Remember, the first eight sellers selling above $1,000 will receive a parking space or grad tickets! A sale of $1,000 will put you in a raffle to win one ticket to the lunch or dinner show. Selling $535 will put you in a contest to get Starbucks every Monday for a month! Those who sell $235 may win "In and Out" Burger at school! And finally, those who sell $35 may win a free dress pass for March 23rd.

Here are the tickets you can sell, and let your customers know what they could win with their drawing tickets! The grand prize drawing would result in $10,000 in cash, and tickets are $100 each. The benefit drawing tickets are $35 each, and prizes include a one week stay in Tahoe, restaurant gift cards, an Apple laptop computer, or a wine tasting tour in Napa Valley.

Sell away, and help support financial aid!

Dance-A-Thon!!

Hey Everyone!

Hopefully you've all heard about the Dance-A-Thon taking place this Friday from 7-10pm in the gym!

What's this all about? Many of us know someone who has been affected by Parkinson's disease. In an effort to try to make a difference, Courtney Quinn and I have decided to host a Platinum Project to benefit the Parkinson's Institute and Clinical Center in Sunnyvale. We have been working all year to fund raise and bring awareness to the disease and the institution. For our main event, we're hosting a dance-a-thon to be held Friday!

Join us for a night full of dancing! There will be a DJ playing music all night long. We'll also have belly dancers, swing dancers, and break dancers to perform and give dance lessons. There will also be a costume competition and a raffle!

We are asking for a $10 pledge for admission to the event. However, your generosity doesn't have to end there. You can be sponsored to dance the night by family, friends, co-workers, teachers, or whoever. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.

You can access the sponsor form (admission ticket) by clicking HERE!

What are you supposed to wear? Please come dressed appropriately as this is a charity event. You and a group of friends can come dressed in costumes, as there will be a costume contest!

Anyone from anywhere is welcome to attend the event. Just remember to bring at least $10, a filled out sponsor sheet, and a school ID for entrance.

Please spread the word! Everyone is welcome to come! If you can't make the event but would still like to donate or have any questions, please contact one of us.

SEE YOU THERE!

Lindsay :)

Spirit Week Recap!

Wow!! What a week! This has truly been one of the best Spirit Weeks we have ever had! You guys did your part and made it fun and absolutely eventful. I'm pretty sure the Frenchies will never forget the craziness of the week.

The halls were outstanding! You guys showed you're support for your class and you could definitely see the hard work you put into everything. It felt like we were walking through the Pres version of Disneyland!

The Valentine's Day themed Big/Little Sister lunch was a fun time for the freshmen and juniors to connect and share their plans for the break.

And what'd you think of the Talent Show?! Pres girls rocked the stage with some amazing talent! From the Glee-tastic Jazz Choir performance to Jen Greenfield's piano tribute to the senior class to the Dance Team's hip-hop routine! We were completely blown away. Did anyone stop by the center for the ASB lunch event? We were owning Guitar Hero and embracing the inner child in each of us by coloring some Disney themed pictures!

We had such a great time this week. Can't wait to see what next year holds!

Enjoy your breaks! We'll see you all refreshed in a week!

Love,
ASB :)

SPIRIT WEEK!

Hello, Fellow Panthers!
The halls go up tonight, which is extremely exciting! This week, we shall walk through Neverland, Wonderland, Monsters Incorporated, and somewhere under the sea! Just a reminder that dress-up days continue throughout the week:
Tuesday- Snow Day [Ski Gear/Ugly Sweater]
Wednesday- Our Tribute to Walt [Disney Character]
Thursday- Neon Day
Friday- Panther Pride Day [Blue and Gold]
Juniors and sophomores, don't forget that you have Big/Little Sister on Wednesday at lunch! The Proposal will be playing in the dance studio, and you'll have the chance to make Valentines and decorate cookies with your sisters.
Also something to look forward to is the...drumroll please... TALENT SHOW on Thursday! Many different acts will wow you with talent! ASB will be emceeing the event, so get ready for the Pres version of America's Got Talent! That lunch, the Student Activities Committee will host a lunch event with Rockband and coloring books in the center, along with some sidewalk chalk to be a kid for a lunch period. Enjoy!
Have a wonderful week!

It all started with a mouse.

Hello all my Disney kiddies!

Spirit week is approaching and before we get into the madness of dress up days, the week of hall decorating is here! Panther Pandemonium was definitely a successful kick off into Spirit Week and we should all continue this hype to make awesome halls! Throughout this whole week, each class level will be working after school to decorate a section of the hallway according to the class' theme (Seniors=Peter Pan, Juniors=Alice in Wonderland, Sophomore=Monsters Inc., Freshmen=Little Mermaid).

At the end of the week, the halls will be judged by how creative each class is based on their theme and their ability to work together as a class. Of course, each class will get major spirit points for those who capture the judges' eyes. This is a time where all class level should work together to earn these major spirit points in order to win the Spirit Trophy. Even if you can spend a mere 15 minutes can help make your hallway look FABULOUS!

Let's make Walt Disney proud shall we?

Giving you the Disney magic,
Arisa
