Keep Our Neighbors Happy!

Hi Everyone!

As you heard on the PA announcements, our neighbors have not been happy about how we're driving around the Presentation neighborhood! Read on to find out some do's and don'ts about keeping the neighbors happy!

Top Five Ways to Keep our Neighbors Happy

1. Always explore the parking lot first before parking on the street- especially with the new parking spots this year, there are plenty of spots to park if you get to school by 7:20.

2. Make an effort to carpool to school to cut down on traffic; coordinate with a friend.

3. Ride your bike/scooter/walk to school and save the environment!

4. Tell your parents to slow down and respect our neighbors.

5. Follow the golden rule- treat the Pres neighborhood like it’s your own!

Top Five Ways to Disgruntle Our Neighbors- Just Don't!

1. Don’t block driveways, leaf piles or garbage cans.

2. Don’t speed down the residential streets- there are children present!

3. Don’t leave trash in the neighborhood area.

4. Don’t let your parents drop you off in red zones or double-park- have them drive around to the back of the gym and drop you off there.

5. Don’t give our neighbors a bad impression of how wonderful Pres girls are!

Consequences-Watch Out!

1. Parking/speeding tickets from police

2. Detentions- even if your parents are driving badly, you will have to serve detention for them!

Let's make this year a peaceful one with our neighbors. Thanks!

Happy Monday!

Hello, Panthers!

I hope you all enjoyed Black and White on Saturday! The decorations were so pretty, and everyone looked amazing! It's kind of strange to see everyone with makeup and dresses instead of sweatpants on, huh?

Remember that this week is SADD Awareness week- watch out for grim reapers, wear your awesome fluorescent bracelets, and be sure to stop buy and hear a guest speaker from Next Door Solutions! SADD is a great club on campus- show your support!

Also, Tuesday is the Oxfam hunger banquet, where students will fast from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. in solidarity with those going hungry throughout the world. Give them a smile and a thumbs-up in the hallway to keep them going - I'm going to get up very early for breakfast!

Finally, watch out for the ASB HOLLA-ween event at lunch on Friday! The famous annual Halloween costume contest will be taking place- dress up and enter a category! The new teachers will be judging, so impress them with your costume creativity skills. You can also trick-or-treat at teacher's doors up and down the hallways to begin your candy canvassing early and begin the sugar-induced insanity. If you want to be scared out of your mind at lunch, there will be a scary movie showing as well! Don't miss out!

Get plenty of sleep, enjoy October! It's a GREAT DAY TO BE A PANTHER!

Freshmen and Juniors. Can you feel the sisterly love?

Hello my sunflowers!

I hope all of you are doing well because today is a very special day for the Juniors and Freshmen! I hope you enjoyed watching the commercial and are excited to start the process. As mentioned in the commercial, I have provided the link to the survey that will help us match you with the perfect sister. It will take less than 5 minutes of your time and the questions are pretty amusing!

Please take the survey by Friday so we can pair you up with your sister and maybe you guys can introduce yourselves before the Halloween event!

^That's the link! Click on it and have fun! :D

Providing you with sisterly love,
Arisa

Hello Weekend!

Hello Panthers!

After a short but tiring week filled with rainstorms and standardized tests, the weekend quickly approaches us. This weekend, try to get all your stuff reorganized and remember to stay on top of your work as we head into a new quarter. Don't procrastinate or you'll really regret it!

But, when you're in need of study brake, embrace your inner childish ways, and let your imagination soar! On of my all-time favorite bedtime stories, Where the Wild Things Are, hits theaters this friday!

Enjoy your weekend!

Sending you love,
Lindsay :)

To the Seniors!

Hey, Seniors!

Feeling slightly stressed yet? This month has kicked off some insane busyness as college applications and teacher recommendations are approaching! Remember that our wonderful college counselors are always here to support us, and know the answer to almost any question you might have!

Also, try not to bang your heads against desks too often- we are brilliant, involved Pres girls, and you will go to college! Really!!

Alisha :D

Black and White

Hi Ladies!

Who's excited for Black and White?! There are still some bids available from the CI office- if you decide a date isn't for you, get together with some friends, have a beautification day and come! The theme for this year is Old Hollywood Glamour, good to keep in mind if you're on the search for an Audry Hepburn-esque little black dress. Remember that a singles bid is $40 and a couples bid is $80, and don't forget your ten cans! Let's kick off our holiday drives with a great start for Sacred Heart.

Happy dress shopping!

ITS Concert for Shelter

Hi everyone!

As you may have heard in homeroom, the ITS Concert for Shelter is taking place tonight at 7:30 in the theater. Please come out and watch the incredible talent of our students, from the dance team to the choir. Last year's concert was incredible, and this year it raises money for an especially important cause in this economy- shelter through Habitat for Humanity. I've even heard rumors that a song was composed entirely for this event! Tickets are $10 at the door- take a break from homework and enjoy some entertainment.

See you there!

Alisha
